Betty J. DePriest, 88, died November 12, 2020, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born December 24, 1931, in Patton, MO., daughter of the late George and Mildred (Messier) Holley, she was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church.

In 1947, at Charleston, she married Lester L. DePriest who proceeded her in death July 29, 2002.

Survivors include: five sons and one daughter; George L. and Marilyn DePriest of Sedgewickville, Steve and Dawn DePriest of Gordonville, David DePriest of Farmington and Mark DePriest of Poplar Bluff; daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Joe Hoffmeister of Millersville; Tim DePriest of Cape Girardeau, and one sister-in-law, Evangeline DePriest of Charleston; one brother-in -law, Leonard DePriest of Cookeville, Tenn.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and Everett Holley.

She was cremated at Liley Funeral Home at Marble Hill, MO and remains placed at Oak Grove Cemetery, Charleston, MO
