Obituary

Floyd Ray Mayfield age 78, of Marble Hill, MO; entered into rest on Saturday, December 12, 2020.

He was born April 3, 1942 in Patton, MO, son of Dayton Elbert and Rhoda Kate Lincoln Mayfield. He and Kathryn Marie Long were united in marriage on February 6, 1965 and she passed away on March 20, 2018.

Floyd worked as a roofer and as a sawmill operator and attended the First Baptist Church in Marble Hill.

Survivors include his sister Dorothy Pulliam of High Ridge, MO and grandson Jacob (Amy) Elfrink of Jackson, Missouri, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his Wife Kathryn, daughter Beverly Elfrink, parents, brothers Shelby, Darrell, Hobert, Wayne and sister Faye Dockins.

Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home with Rev Gerald Huff officiating. Burial will follow in the Pulliam Cemetery near Patton.

Floyd was my neighbor for the past 3 years. Sweetest man ever! Always waved and said hi when he saw me out. Always knew my name. I had the pleasure of cooking for him several times. He was always so appreciative of anything I sent to him. My entire family will miss Floyd very much. He was one of the best neighbors anyone could ask for. Rest in peace Mr. Mayfield.
