Obituary

Martha Louise Barker age 80 of Glenallen, MO, went to her heavenly rest on February 19, 2021 from Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.

She was born September 7, 1940 on Woolverton Mountain Arkansas to Thurman Otis and Rosie Chew Thompson.

She was a member of the Burfordville Baptist Church and a retired real estate agent.

She is survived by a son Donald W. (Delilah) Barker of Evergreen, Colorado, daughter Patti (Jeff) Deck of Glenallen, MO. Also surviving by Patti and Jeff’s five sons Josh, Jaret, Austin, Jeremy and Jaiden all of Missouri. Three grandchildren that she raised after the death of their parents Danielle Shaw of Jackson, MO, Carly (Dale) Bradley and Nick Hurst Fiancée (Cheyenne) of Marble Hill, MO. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren and a sister Wynona Buxton of Weed, California.

She was preceded in death by a son David W. Barker, daughter Donna Jean Hurst, a granddaughter, a great granddaughter, sisters Ruth Barker, Linda Hebert, brother’s in law Bob Valentine and Clinton D. Barker.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 11:00 am to the time of service at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Wormington officiating. Burial will follow in the Barker Cemetery in Glenallen, Missouri.
