Obituary

Bill passed away on December 19, 2020 at his home, which were his wishes. He had battled cancer since January. He was born May 3, 1946 to Clarence and Stella Miller Headrick.

Bill worked on tow boats most of his life. He worked for Wisconsin Barge Line, Inland Oil, and Luhr Bros and he loved it. He liked to work on vehicles and taught his younger brother a lot, and his sister some too.

He and Vicki Medley married in 1968 and remain friends.

He is survived by his children. Sons, Quinton Jr (Billy)of Bonne Terre, Mo and Mark Headrick of Allenville, Mo. Daughters, Tracy Medley, Sandy Patterson (Johnnie) and Misty Headrick, of Cape Girardeau, and Martha Medley of Jonesboro, Illinois. 22 grand children and 20 great grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Jimmy Headrick, sister, Mary Golden and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Marsha Brown, 2 grand children, a brother, Butch and a sister, Janet.

Their will be a celebration of life at Allenville Baptist Church, in Allenville, Missouri, officiated by Brother Jerry Respondek on date Saturday, January 2, 2021 at 2 p.m.

Special thanks to VNA Nursing Staff (Ali and Stephanie) and VNA Hospice Staff, especially Michael and Rita! They became family and we will always cherish their kindness and friendship. Their help during this difficult time has been immeasurable.
